Ringwood Hall Hotel has been operating under the current private ownership and management for over eleven years. This decade plus of experience of providing a quality hotel service to our guests, plus an ongoing investment totaling over £6m is one of the reasons our long standing AA rating is one of the highest hotel awards in Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and The Peak District.
A popular base for visitors to The Peak District, North Derbyshire or South Yorkshire, Ringwood Hall Hotel is peacefully set in 29 acres of award winning grounds, and our 200 year old main house is sited well away from the traffic behind a mature tree line. We can be easily found from junctions 29 & 30 of the M1, and provide ample complimentary parking for over 150 vehicles.
The centre of our historic market town of Chesterfield with the world famous "Crooked Spire" church is only minutes away, while the main line train station is even closer. Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth House are nearby, while The Heights of Abraham, Cresswell Craggs and many of the other varied attractions of the Peak District National Park are within easy travel. Sheffield is only ten miles away, and the Meadowhall Shopping Centre is just 15 minutes drive north on the M1.
